About The Founder
My name is Alvin Smith, Chief Executive Officer of Truth & Honor, Inc. I have been a member of the recovery community for thirty-five years. I am highly committed to the well-being and safety of all veterans but the veterans participating in the Truth & Honor program hold a special place in my heart.
Truth & Honor Inc. was established on June 3, 2019, but my passion for serving and helping the veteran population began in 2007.
I believe in the Golden Rule: Treat others as you would want them to treat you. We are fully transitional supportive recovery housing to permanent housing. Now is our turn to serve those who have served us.
I am also the owner of Smith Property Management, LLC, a business I have operated for more than thirty (30) years in the Greater Akron area. I have been a native of Akron for over sixty-eight (68) years, and I am married with adult children.
Sincerely,
Alvin Smith, C.E.O. / President
